Maximum Recovery Diluent (MRD) from SGS, is a ready-to-use microbiological diluent designed for the preparation and dilution of samples prior to microbial analysis. The formulation helps maintain the viability of microorganisms during sample handling and dilution, making it particularly suitable for microbiological testing where maximum recovery of organisms is required.
Supplied in convenient 225ml containers, MRD is widely used in food, beverage, environmental and veterinary laboratories for sample preparation before enumeration and microbiological examination. The ready-prepared format reduces preparation time and helps ensure consistency between tests.
